Brief introductory lectures with the participation of all students and instructors 

8:45am - 9:30am Initial Management to Trauma Patient and Management of Shock
9:30am - 10am Best Practice Guidelines, Protocols and Algorithms in Trauma 
10am - 10:20am Break


Interactive small group hands-on sessions followed by small group discussion and appraisal. Learning points are presented to the entire group 

10:20am - 10:50am First Case Demonstration - 72-year-old female with elevated blood pressure  
10:50am - 11:30pm Interactive clinical scenario - Gunshot wounds to the thorax and abdomen  
11:30am - 12:10pm Interactive clinical scenario - Fall from roof with shortness of breath 
12:10pm - 1pm Lunch
1pm - 1:40pm Interactive clinical scenario - All-terrain vehicle accident 
1:40pm - 2:20pm Interactive clinical scenario - Motorcycle crash with a hypotensive patient     
2:20pm - 3pm Interactive clinical scenario - Motor vehicle crash with a patient without hypotension  
3pm - 3:20pm Break
3:20pm - 4pm Interactive clinical scenario - Workplace incident with a concrete slab  
4pm - 4:40pm Interactive clinical scenario – Motorcycle crash with brain and spleen injury 


Final review of all sessions of the day by all students and instructors

Interactive small group hands-on sessions followed by small group discussion and appraisal. Learning points are presented to the entire group 

8:30am - 9:10am Interactive clinical scenario - Multiple gunshots  
9:10am - 9:50am Interactive clinical scenario - Mountain bicycle crash
9:50am - 10:30am Interactive clinical scenario - Stab wound to the chest 
10:30am - 10:50am Break
10:50am - 11:30am Interactive clinical scenario - Triathlon competition with fall at high speed 
11:30am - 12:10pm Interactive clinical scenario - Olympic cross-country equestrian competition fall 
12:10pm - 1pm Lunch
1pm - 1:40pm Interactive clinical scenario - Golf kart accident 
1:40pm -2:20pm Interactive clinical scenario - Gunshot to abdomen  
2:20pm - 3pm Interactive clinical scenario - Bicycle accident
